My heartfelt condolences to the Campbell family, Hurricane teammates, fellow alumni, and fans. May the Lord comfort you in this time of great sorrow. Chris will be missed. It was a blessing to watch him play.

FROM READING EVERYTHING THAT PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES HAD TO SAY ABOUT CHRIS LETS ME KNOW THAT HE WAS INDEED A GOOD PERSON,AND A FINE ATHELETE .I DIDN’T KNOW HIM BECAUSE HE WAS SO MUCH YOUNGER THAN ME,BUT I WISHED I HAD THE CHANCE TO HAVE MET HIM.HE SEEMED LIKE THE TYPE OF YOUNG MAN THAT STRIVED FOR WHAT HE WANTED.I JUST WANT TO TELL HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY THE MAN THAT HELPED HIM ALL THESE YEARS(THE REV.WILLIE SEARCY)THAT GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES WHEN HE CALLS HIS CHILDREN HOME.GOD HAS PLANS FOR CHRIS JUST LIKE HE DOES FOR THE REST OF US,AND MR.SEARCY JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU WERE AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BIG PART OF CHRIS’S LIFE.YOU WERE THE MAN THAT MADE HIM BECOME THE MAN THAT HE WAS TODAY AND THAT WAS A VERY FINE RESPECTABLE YOUNG MAN AND GOD HAS GOOD THINGS IN MIND FOR YOU TOO.

I hope UM as a team does not in any way dedicate next year for Chris all and all a severe needless tradgey. Still he was legally drunk and could have killed other people including his friend and passenger. I too will miss seeing him on Sunday’s still we all need to think & Drink responsibly.

God Bless Chris!!!
You Will BE MISSED!!!!!
