Hall Finishes Up at USA Swimming National Championships

Stanford, Calif. – University of Miami senior swimmer Kelsi Hall finished up with a time of 25.88 in the finals of the women’s 50-meter freestyle at the 2011 ConocoPhillips USA National Championships on Friday. The event is being housed at the Avery Aquatic Complex on the campus of Stanford University.
After advancing to the finals with a career-best long course time of 25.76 in the 50m freestyle on Thursday, the UMiami rising senior concluded her run at this year’s national championships with an eighth place finish in the “B” finals. Hall set the UM record in the 50-yard freestyle this past season with a t time of 22.53 at the Georgia Bulldog Invite. She arrived to UMiami via the University of Kentucky where she swam two years for the Wildcats from 2008-10.
This year’s USA National Championships will serve as the selection meet for the 2011 Pan American Games, October 15-22 in Guadalajara, Mexico, and the 2011 FINA World Junior Championships, August 16-21 in Lima, Peru.
