Senior (2011-12)…
Became the program’s first All-American swimmer under Head Coach Christie Shefchunas with a tenth-place finish (22.12) in the finals of the NCAA Championships (March 15-17) in the 50 Yard Freestyle …Qualified for the NCAA Championships with a gold medal-winning time of 22.03 at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships (Feb. 15-18), which also broke a personal record…Advanced to the semifinal round at U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. (June 25 – July 2) with a qualifying time of 25.52 seconds in the 50 Free…Qualified for the finals at the 2011 AT&T Winter National Championships (Dec. 1-3) in Atlanta, Ga., finishing fourth in the “B” final of the 50 Free with a time of 25.69…Finished first in the 50 Free in a season-opening tri-meet against Florida Gulf Coast and Florida State (Oct. 1) with a time of 22.94, and took third in the 100 Free (51.25)…Helped guide the Hurricanes to a fourth-place finish at the All Florida Invite (Oct. 7-9) with a first-place showing in the “B” final of the 100 Free (52.16) and a second-place finish in the “A” finals of the 50 Free (23.30)…Also was a key member of the season’s best times in the 200 Freestyle Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, 800 Freestyle Relay, 200 Medley Relay and 400 Medley Relay…Junior (2010-11)…
Owned a part of all five of UMiami’s top times on the year in the 50 freestyle, while claiming six of the top 10 performances… Set a school record in the 50 free at the Georgia Bulldog Invitational (Feb. 26-27) with a time of 22.53… Set the previous school record in the 50 free at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships (Feb. 16-19) in Atlanta with a time of 22.59… Registered seven first-place times in the event, including at the Georgia Bulldog Invite and in a head-to-head meeting with crosstown rival FIU (Oct. 15)… Posted the sixth-best time for the season at the UGA Bulldog Invite in the 100 free with a mark of 50.63 in the prelims… Had a second-place finish against Houston (Nov. 6)… Worked in six 100 breaststroke races, including a season-best time of 1:03.68 at the ACC Championships… Served anchor for the school record-holding 200 medley relay team that put up a time of 1:38.88 at the ACC Championships… She finished that race with a split time of 21.70, helping the Canes to a NCAA “B” cut time and a third-place finish in the race… Was anchor for the top seven 200 medley times on the year for the Canes… Also swam anchor for the 400 medley relay squad that tallied a school record time of 3:29.28 at the ACC Championships… Her split time was 50.47 – also earning the Canes an NCAA provisional qualifying mark… Anchored all five of the team’s top 400 medley performances of the season… Swam as second leg for the top four times on the year in the 200 free relay… Helped swim second leg for the school record-holding team that posted a mark of 1:31.86 at the ACC Championships… Also served second leg on the top six times for the campaign in the 400 freestyle relay, including the NCAA “B” cut qualifying team that tallied a mark of 3:22.42 at the conference championships… Came away with a split time of 49.96 in the event… Helped the Canes to five wins in the 200 medley relay, in addition to two victories in the 400 medley…Before Miami…
