The tournament, hosted by the University of Louisville, includes 14 teams. This year’s field includes Arkansas State, Cincinnati, East Tennessee State, Florida International, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Memphis, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, South Florida, Texas State and UNC Wilmington.
NC State is the first ACC team to appear in the same event as Miami this spring.
The Weston Hills Golf Course (Par 72 – 6,106 yards) is located approximately 40 miles from the Coral Gables campus, the closest event course the Hurricanes will play this spring.
Coach Patti Rizzo has tabbed the same five starters as the previous two tournaments going with Maria Ronderos, Christina Hirano, Jennifer Hirano, Carina Cuculiza and Patricia Arana once again. Junior Diana Fisher will also compete as an individual this week.
