Miami Football 2010 Summer Tour Dates Announced

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football program is set to host its annual youth football summer tour over the next two weeks in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Members of the 2010 team will host four clinics for youth teams in South Florida, beginning on Friday, July 23 with a pair of events in Broward County.

Approximately 40 student-athletes will attend each clinic, which are all free and open to the public.

This Friday, clinics will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the West Pines Optimist at Chapel Trails Park in Pembroke Pines and at the Sports/Academic Training Camp at Vincent Torres at Memorial Park in Lauderdale Lakes.

The Miami-Dade County events will be held on Friday, July 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Gwen Cherry Park in Miami and at Gibson Park in Miami.

The clinics will focus on individual skills and last approximately 45 minutes at each site.

The Hurricanes will open their 2010 season when they play host to Florida A&M on Sept. 2 at Sun Life Stadium. For information on season tickets, please call 1-800-GO-CANES.
