In Atlanta, the Hurricanes jumped put to a 13-0 lead and even led by 15 at one points, but foul trouble caught up to the young ‘Canes and by halftime, Miami held to only a 28-26 lead. In the overtime period, the Yellow Jackets proved to be too much, scoring eight second-chance points, pulling away from Miami for the final 80-73 score.

The Hurricanes will look to get back in the win column in the first of two meetings against Boston College.
