Miami enters Sunday’s match up with a 1-1 conference record. For the first time since 1991, the Hurricanes defeated a top 15 team – in No. 13/11 Florida State. However, the ‘Canes fell to the No.7 Duke Blue Devils on Thursday.

In that game, sophomore Shenise Johnson had a tremendous outing. Scoring 19 points, grabbing nine rebounds, dishing out seven assists as well as having her hand in on a game-high three steals. Coming off her first ACC Rookie of the Week Award, freshman Morgan Stroman came off the bench and scored 15 points to go along with six rebounds.  Miami’s offense was held to its second-worst shooting percentage (33 percent) against the Blue Devils, it will look to bounce back against Wake Forest.
