FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Miami’s Ti’erra Brown earned All-America honors for the third time in her career after placing third in the 60m hurdles Saturday evening at the University of Arkansas’ Randal Tyson Track Center.

Brown, who set a new school record in the 60m hurdles Friday night, ran an 8.08 second time in the final heat – for a third place finish. The Hampton, Va. native earned All-American status twice previously – at the 2008 and 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 400m hurdles. In 2008, she finished eight and in 2009 she was the national runner-up.

Also competing on Saturday was senior Deandra Doyley. The Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. native competed in the triple jump where she reached a mark of 12.72m (41-08.75), her second-best mark of the season. Last night, Doyley also competed in the long jump, leaping 6.17m (20-03.00).

Miami will begin outdoor competition next weekend when it plays host to the Hurricane Invitational, March 19-20 at UM’s Cobb Stadium.
