Hurricane Student-Athletes Visit South Miami Middle School

CORAL GABLES – University of Miami student-athletes from the football, track and field and women’s basketball teams visited with students at South Miami Middle School as part of the Lauryn Williams Fun4Kids Mentoring Program on Monday.
Each child was paired up with a student-athlete and after a lunch of pizza and soda, were able to take their mentor around their school to visit classrooms and discuss where they learn each day..
Fun4Kids has teamed up with former UM great Lauryn Williams in organizing events throughout the year for the children to spend time with their mentors.
