Miami Women's Tennis Signs Local Tennis Prep

Coral Gables, Fla. – University of Miami women’s tennis coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews announced the signing of Brittany Dubins to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Hurricanes next season, with Dubins having signed her letter Monday afternoon.
Dubins, a senior at Dr. Krop High School in North Miami Beach, helped lead the Lightning to the regional final recently, and also serves as a starter for the Lightning’s girls’ soccer team. She also plays for the volleyball team at Dr. Krop.
She is listed as a five-star athlete on Tennisrecruiting.net, and is listed as No. 65 on the Babolat national recruiting list. On that same list, she’s listed as the No. 19 player in the southeast, while being ranked No. 12 in the state of Florida.
“Brittany is an exceptional athlete and will be a great addition to our program,” expressed UM ninth-year head coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews. “She’s a player that will unquestionably utilize her athleticism to develop in a college setting. We’re excited to welcome Brittany into the University of Miami family.”
