Shields Named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) – – Sophomore wide receiver Sam Shields has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period September 17-23.

Shields, a native of Bradenton, Fla., caught six passes for 117 yards in the Hurricanes 34-17 victory over the sixteenth ranked Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday, September 20 at the Orange Bowl. His 117 yards was a career best and his six receptions tied his career high.
