Faluade Garners All-America Honors in Triple Jump

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – University of Miami senior Brenda Faluade earned All-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the finals of the triple jump Saturday at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

An All-America honoree in 2004 and 2006 in the event, Faluade finished seventh overall in the triple jump finals with a mark of 43-02.25 feet (13.16m) which she hit on her second attempt of the afternoon.

Behind Faluade’s performance Saturday and a seventh-place finish in the long jump by senior Amy Seward Thursday, Miami concludes the NCAA Championships with a total of four points.
