Miami Concludes Friday's Events at Penn Relays

PENNSYLVANIA, Pa. – After a delayed start due to rain and lightning, the University of Miami men’s and women’s track and field teams wrapped up a successful afternoon Friday at the 113th Penn Relays held at historic Franklin Field.
Highlighting the day’s events was Junior Khadija Talley who took third place in the women’s discuss “Championship” division with a throw of 51.21 meters (168-00 feet).
The UM women’s 4×100-meter relay team of senior Amy Seward, sophomore Krista Simkins, and freshmen Kristy Whyte and Ashley Dukes finished third in the 4×100-meter “College” division race.
