Television: The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net (FSN) with JoelMeyers (play by play), Dave Lapham (analysis) and Jim Knox (field reporter). It will betelevised in the state of Florida on FSN Florida.
Local Radio: The Hurricanes Radio Network (WQAM 560 AM) will carry the game live with Joe Zagacki(play by play), Don Bailey Jr. (analysis) and Brian London (sideline reporter).
National Radio: XM Satellite Radio will carry the game live on Ch. 192.

THIS WEEK’S GAME:
After four consecutive victories and three straight home games, the Miami Hurricanes will go back onthe road to face the Temple Owls at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field. The Hurricanes are4-1 this season and ranked seventh by AP, sixth in the USA Today coaches poll and sixth in the Harrispoll. Temple has yet to win a game this season and is 0-6. The game will be nationally televised on FoxSports Net.
Following a season-opening loss to Florida State, the Hurricanes have defeated Clemson, Colorado,South Florida and Duke en route to a 4-1 record. Following the Temple game, Miami will return to theOrange Bowl for home games against Georgia Tech and North Carolina as they begin a season-finishingfive-game run against ACC opponents.
This will be the 13th meeting ever between Miami and Temple, with UM holding an 12-1 lead in theseries, with 12 consecutive victories. As members of the Big East from 1993-2003, Miami won all 12games, with an average score of 45-11. The last game was a 52-14 UM win in the Orange Bowl in 2003.This is Miami’s last non-conference game of the season. They have already defeated Colorado andSouth Florida this season. The Hurricanes are still 1-1 in the ACC and tied for second place in theCoastal Division behind Virginia Tech, whom the Hurricanes face on November 5.
The Hurricanes had their most impressive performance of the saeason last Saturday, defeating Duke52-7, as QB Kyle Wright threw for three touchdowns and backup QB Kirby Freeman had two TD passes.Miami rolled up 557 yards on offense and held the Blue Devils to only 128 total yards in dominatingthe game. In fact, Temple got its only score on a breakaway 81-yard TD run on the third play of thethird quarter, or else they would have been held to fewer than 50 yards. UM rushed for 255 yards.Wright passed for 255 yards in less than 40 minutes of action, and his three TD passes equalled hisseason total going into the game. Freeman saw his most significant action so far, hitting 4 of 9 passesfor 47 yards and two TDs. RB Tyrone Moss scored two more touchdowns, pushing his season total toeight, as he rushed only 12 times for 82 yards (6.8 average). All four UM running backs gained at least29 yards on the ground.
The Hurricanes have held their last three opponenents to only one score each, which had been doneonly three times by UM in the last decade (1996, 2000 and 2001). Those scores were a 58-yard fieldgoal by Colorado (to push their consecutive-game scoring streak to 200 games), a fourth-quarter touchdownby South Florida against UM’s reserves, and Temple’s 81-yard TD run. None of the last threeopponents have scored in the first half.
The Miami offense seems to be coming along as the season hits its midpoint. Not only have theHurricanes scored in 15 of their last 16 quarters, but the offense has moved up to 43rd nationally inrushing, 59th in passing and 54th overall. Still, it’s the defense that is leading the way for Miami thisseason. The UM defense ranks third overall in the country, first in defensive passing efficiency, third inpass defense and 22nd in run defense. UM ranks fifth in scoring defense, allowing 57 points in fivegames, 10 of those points coming in overtime.The Hurricanes are the highest-ranked team with a loss in any of the three polls. Their ranking ofsixth in the USA Today coaches poll and the Harris Interactive poll is more important than the AP poll,because those polls are each one-third of the formula that will determine the first Bowl ChampionshipSeries standings that will be released next week.
