Darden Advances to 400-Hurdle Final

Austin, Texas (hurricanesports.com) – Junior All-American Dominique Darden (Harrisburg, Pa.) won her qualifying heat with a time of 58.59 seconds to advance to Saturday’s final of the 400-meter hurdles at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.

Darden, a six-time All-American, recorded the third fastest time of the preliminary round and posted an NCAA regional qualifying mark.

Senior Kim Barrett (Miami Gulliver Prep) placed seventh in the hammer throw with an NCAA regional qualifying mark of 55.27 meters (181-04).
