Miami Women's Track Ranked Eighth In Nation

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s track and field team is ranked eighth in the nation in the season opening Trackwire25 Women’s Outdoor Track and Field rankings released Tuesday.

Miami, which placed third at last month’s NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, has already had nine women record 11 NCAA regional qualifying marks in seven events this outdoor season.

The Hurricanes return to action this weekend at the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas.
