CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 11th ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team enters their toughest stretch of the season with a four match ACC road swing that begins on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. against No. 10 Duke and is followed by a noon match-up against No. 31 Wake Forest on Sunday.

The Hurricanes, who end the regular season on the road against No. 15 Clemson and No. 6 Georgia Tech, closed their 2005 home slate with wins over No. 58 South Florida and ACC foe NC State last weekend. Miami continues to be led by Megan Bradley, the nation’s No. 1 ranked player, who is unbeaten in 16 matches during the dual-match season. Also unbeaten is freshman Patricia Starzyk who is ranked 92nd with a 17-0 record.

Bradley and sophomore Audrey Banada continue to be UM’s top tandem. Ranked No. 4 in the country, the pair is currently 23-2 overall and 14-1 in dual-match play.

Katie Blaszak, ranked 39th, leads the Blue Devils this season with a 10-3 dual season record. The Blue Devils lead the all-time series 7-3.

A Look at the Demon deacons…The 31st ranked Demon Deacons will face Miami on Sunday after suffering a 4-3 loss to No. 16 North Carolina on Thursday. Wake Forest fell to 9-5 overall and 2-3 in the ACC with the loss. The Deacs are led by the No. 15 ranked duo of Karin Coetzee and Alexandra Hirsch, who are currently on a five match winning streak. Coetzee is also ranked 30th in singles while teammate Ashlee Davis is ranked No. 66. The Hurricanes lead the all-time series 6-1.
