Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) – – Hurricanes host Track & Field Invitational this week!

Come support your University of Miami men’s and women’s track and field teams as they compete in their inaugural season as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Hurricanes, led by Head Coaches Amy Deem and Mike Ward, will host the Hurricane Invitational from Thursday, March 17 to Saturday, March 19 and the Miami Gatorade Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, April 16 at Cobb Stadium on the Coral Gables campus.

Coach Amy Deem is entering her 15th season at the University of Miami and has guided 29 student-athletes to a combined 80 All-American honors and seven individual National Championships, including Olympic Silver Medalist Lauryn Williams. Coach Mike Ward enters his eighth season as head coach of the men’s track and field team. Under Ward’s guidance, the UM track program recorded 24 individual and relay Big East titles, three All-America honors and one individual NCAA title.
