Athens’ Greece (hurricanesports.com) – Former University of Miami sprinter Lauryn Williams (Rochester, Pa.) won her 100-meter preliminary heat in a time of 11.16 seconds to advance to tonight’s second round at the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
Williams, who entered the Olympic Games with the third fastest time in the world this season, will be matched up in what will arguably be the toughest second round heat of the night.
