Preseason Football Practice Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The Miami Hurricanes football team begins intensive work for the 2003 football season with preseason practices beginning with a practice at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, August 4.

Newcomers report the morning of Sunday, Aug. 3, and the varsity returnees report to camp later that day. Full-squad practices begin the next day. Practices will be open to the public from Aug. 4 to Aug. 13.

The Hurricanes begin the 2003 football season Thursday, Aug. 28, when UM travels to Shreveport, La., to take on Louisiana Tech at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Mon.-Fri., Aug. 4-8: Practice at 3:30 p.m. – open to the public
Sat., Aug. 9: Practices at 8:30 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. – open to the public
Sun., Aug. 10: Practice at 3:30 p.m. – open to the public
Mon., Aug. 11: 8:30 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. – open to the public
Tues., Aug. 12: 3:30 p.m. – open to the public
Wed., Aug. 13: 8:30 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. – open to the public

Closed to the Public – Media Only (first 1/2 hour and last 15 minutes)
