UM Announces Men's Basketball Season Ticket Plans

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami will be introducing several new single-season season ticket options for the 2003-04 men’s basketball season, as well as additional Premium Seat packages which will guarantee Hurricane fans the best available seats in the house for Miami’s final season of BIG EAST play along with the first two seasons of ACC competition.

Miami will play a total of 18 home games this season highlighted by a visit from the defending National Champion Syracuse Orangemen on February 14. Many of the top teams in the nation will be visiting the Convocation Center this season including intrastate rival Florida State (Dec. 14), Pittsburgh (Jan. 10), Villanova (Jan. 25), Georgetown (Jan. 31), Boston College (Feb. 11), Seton Hall (Feb. 24) and West Virginia (Mar. 6).

The single-season plans include a new General Admission season ticket package for only $175. The tickets are located in endzone Sections 106 and 107 opposite the UM student section, and with 18 home games on the schedule the plan averages out to less than $10 per ticket. Also available for $175 are season tickets in the newly established Ibis Alley which is located in the upper row of side court sections 101, 102, 111, 112, 113 and 121.

Hurricane fans may also purchase Corner Chairback and Side Court Chairback season ticket packages at the low price of $295 (less than $17 per game). Other new plans available this season include a Family Plan ($444), which is good for two adults and two children, an Alumni Plan ($266) and a new plan for Parents of UM students ($266).

In addition to the single-season ticket plans, Miami will be offering new three-year Premium Ticket Packages along with the five and 10-year plans already available. Premium seat locations are located from the concourse level to the floor and will continue to require a donation to the Convocation Center Building Fund.
