Football Readies For Boston College
Sept. 17, 2002
The University of Miami football team returned to Greentree Practice Field on Tuesday in preparation for this Saturday’s BIG EAST match-up with Boston College at 7:45 p.m. at the Orange Bowl.
Returning to practice on Tuesday were split end receiver Andre Johnson and fullback Kyle Cobia. Johnson was previously sidelined one week after having minor shoulder surgery. Cobia returns after spending the last month with a knee injury.
“It was a blue collar day, said Head Coach Larry Coker. “We brought our lunch pails. It was a good practice and we had a couple of people back out so we kind of got more back to full strength and we certainly like that. Practice was excellent. The scout team did a good job today. I think it really set a good tone for the week.”
The Boston College game marks the BIG EAST home opener for the Hurricanes and will be nationally televised on ESPN.
