Miami Honors Men's Basketball Team

The University of Miami men’s basketball team held its annual awardsbanquet Thursday April 18, 2002, at the Mayfair House Hotel in CoconutGrove, FL. Miami, which recorded its eighth consecutive winning season,finished with an 24-8 overall record, 10-6 in the BIG EAST, and reachedthe NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in the last five seasons. TheHurricanes established several school-records last season includingvictories (24), three-point field goals (236), three-point field goalattempts (684) and blocked shots (190).
