No. 39 Men's Tennis To Face No. 34 Texas Christian

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The No. 39 University of Miami men’s tennis team will look to extend its two-match winning streak when they face No. 34 Texas Christian University Friday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Hurricanes (4-3) are coming off two consecutive home victories last weekend, defeating Florida A&M 5-2 on Friday and routing No. 61Wisconsin 5-1 on Sunday.

The last time Miami and TCU met the Hurricanes defeated the Horn Frogs 4-3 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Miami has recorded four wins this season, including a 4-3 upset victory over No. 17 South Alabama and a 6-1 routing of Western Michigan.

The Hurricanes’ three losses have come at the hands of ranked opponents including No. 48 Florida Atlantic (4-3), No. 56 Florida State (6-1) and No. 7 Notre Dame (6-1).
