Men's Hoops Ranked No. 24 In AP Poll

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami men’s basketball team is ranked 24th in the latest Associated Press Top-25 College Basketball poll released Monday.
Miami (11-0) is off to the best start in school-history and received 277 votes to break into the Associated Press Top-25 for the first time since the end of the 1999-00 season. The Hurricanes ended the 1999-00 season ranked 23rd by the Associated Press.
Miami is one of five remaining undefeated Division I teams including No. 1 Duke (10-0), No. 4 Virginia (8-0),No. 5 Oklahoma State (12-0) and No. 24 Butler (11-0).
The Hurricanes, who are ranked 23rd in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll, will attempt to improve their to 12-0 when they face Louisiana State (9-2) in the Sugar Bowl Basketball Classic on December 27. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sport Net at 10:30 p.m. The game can also be heard on the Hurricane Radio Network, WQAM-560 AM.
