No. 20 Men's Tennis Edges No. 48 FAU, 4-3

CORAL GABLES, Fla.– The University of Miami men’s tennis team (1-0) opened their spring season with a victory over intra-state rival Florida Atlantic (1-1). Miami won three of the six singles matches and swept all three doubles matches en route to its 4-3 victory.
UM received singles victories from Michael Lang (Sarasota, Fla.), Jose Lieberman (Los Angeles, Ca.) and Andrew Golub (Miami, Fla.).
Lang defeated Yalin Bilgin, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, while Lieberman downed Sandro Spotti, 6-4, 7-6 (4) at the No. 5 spot and Golub won at No. 6 defeating Cristian Paiz, 7-5, 6-1.
The No. 20 ranked Hurricanes return to action on Saturday traveling to face No. 70 Southern Mississippi.
