Hurricanes Set To Deliver Thanksgiving Dinners

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) — – On Monday, November 20, student-athletes from the University of Miami football team, as well as members from women’s crew, women’s tennis, women’s track, and women’s basketball, will distribute Thanksgiving Dinners to six Miami-area shelters.

The teams will distribute 75 full dinners, compliments of Sysco Food Services of South Florida. The 2000 holiday season will mark the sixth consecutive year that the Hurricanes have reached out to the community during Thanksgiving.

This year the Hurricanes are scheduled to deliver dinners to the following six shelters:

Children & Families
Ronald McDonald House
Winn Dixie Hope Lodge
Gladstone Center
Boystown
Florida Baptist Home
