Miami Now 2nd In BCS Rankings

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The Miami Hurricanes continued their climb to the top of the rankings Monday as UM moved ahead of Florida State and into second place in the latest Bowl Championship Series rankings. Unbeaten Oklahoma remains atop the BCS rankings while Miami (ranked second by Associated Press and the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll) jumped slightly ahead of the Seminoles.

The Florida Gators are ranked fourth in the BCS survey with Washington fifth, followed by Virginia Tech, Oregon, Nebraska, Oregon State and Kansas State to round out the top 10. Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Texas and Texas A&M were ranked 11th through 15th, respectively.
