Statement from Miami Head Football Coach Butch Davis regarding the current BCS college football rankings:

“Regardless of our standing in any of the rankings, we just need to remain focused on winning games. To enter into any kind of long discussion about rankings or the BCS system really serves no purpose, as I see it. Clearly, we have plenty of football left to play and our players and coaches have done a fine job this season of maintaining their focus. Getting involved in trying to figure out how everything will work out just isn’t something I’m concerned with right now.”
