UM Women Host No. 5/6 Notre Dame

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s basketball team (8-7, 2-2 BIG EAST) will host No. 5/6 Notre Dame (14-2, 5-0 BIG EAST) on Saturday, January 22 at 2 p.m. at the Knight Sports Complex on the Coral Gables campus. This is the 10th meeting between the two schools. The Fighting Irish hold a 7-2 advantage vs. the Hurricanes.

The game concludes a three-game homestand for UM. Most recently, the Hurricanes lost a slim decision to Georgetown, (63-61), on Wednesday.

The Hurricanes are led by freshman phenom, Alicia Hartlaub (10.3 ppg., 7.3 rpg.) and Gina Graziani (9.9 ppg., 6.3 apg.).

The Irish are led by Alicia Ratay (15.3 ppg., 5.1 rpg.) and Ruth Riley (15.1 ppg., 7.6 rpg.).
