Miami Defeats Eastern Kentucky For Second Straight

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s basketball team(2-0, 0-0 BIG EAST), led by senior guard Gina Graziani’s (PembrokePines/Cooper City) 16 points and 12 assists, handed Eastern Kentucky (1-2,0-0 OVC) a 83-66 loss at the Knight Sports Complex on Wednesday. Graziani’sperformance marked her sixth career double-double.

Three other Hurricanes scored in double figures along with Graziani.Freshman Meghan Saake (Wellington/Wellington) recorded a team-high 18points, Sheila James (Rubonia/Palmetto) finished with 12 and Kathryn Fowler(New York/Christ the King) chipped in with 10.

Eastern Kentucky was led by Candice Finley’s 20 points. CharlotteSizemore finished with 14.
