Miami has won each of its last two home games including a victory over then 19th-ranked Virginia February 21 at the BankUnitedCenter.

Miami is led by sophomore guard Jack McClinton, an All-ACC candidate who tops the league in three-point field goal percentage (.435), free throw percentage (.910) and three pointers made per game (.910). McClinton is first on the UM roster and ninth in the league in scoring (16.3) following a 21-point effort against Clemson Wednesday night.

Freshman forward/center Dwayne Collins continues to impress in his first season at UM, averaging 8.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Collins ranks second in the ACC in double-doubles (5) and is the ACC leader in offensive rebounds per game (3.2).

The Seminoles head to Coral Gables coming off a 78-52 victory over NC State Wednesday evening which snapped a five-game slide for FSU.

FloridaState’s roster boasts the ACC’s second-leading scorer in National Player of the Year candidate Al Thorton (19.2 ppg). Thorton leads the league in scoring and rebounding in ACC play, posting an average of 22.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
