Coming off a 82-63 loss at Boston College Tuesday night, Miami heads to Tallahassee Saturday for a match-up with in-state ACC rival Florida State with an overall record of 9-10 and a 2-3 mark in ACC play.

Saturday’s contest at FloridaState will mark UM’s third road game in the last 11 days and its fourth-straight against teams with 12 or more victories.

Offensively, the Hurricanes are led by sophomore Jack McClinton’s 16.4 points per game. McClinton currently stands as the ACC leader in three-point field goal percentage (.467) and ranks second in the league in free throw percentage (.909).

Sophomore forward Brian Asbury (12.2) is second on the team in scoring and is averaging 16.0 points over the last two games.

Coming off a 24-point, 13-rebound effort against Boston College freshman center Dwayne Collins is averaging 11.4 points and 7.2 rebounds against ACC opponents.

FloridaState is 13-5 on the year and 1-3 in league play following an 82-73 victory over 25th-ranked Virginia Tech Wednesday evening in Tallahassee which snapped a three-game slide for FSU.

The Seminoles are led by senior forward Al Thorton, who ranks fifth in the ACC with 17.8 points per game.
