Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) —The University of Miami will be holding “Hurricane Hoops Day”, a free promotional event open to the public on Saturday, October 25 from 1- 4 PM at the UM Convocation Center. During this event, fans will have the opportunity to meet the Miami Hurricane men’s and women’s basketball teams, choose their seats for the upcoming season, and get autographs from their favorite Hurricane players.

The men’s basketball team will opens its home schedule on November 21 and will play a total of 15 games against teams that reached postseason play last season, highlighted by visits from defending NCAA Champion Syracuse and intrastate rival Florida State. Several new single-season season ticket options are now available for as low as $175 per seat, as well as additional Premium Seat packages which will guarantee Hurricane fans the best available seats in the house for Miami’s final season of BIG EAST play along with the first two seasons of ACC competition.

The women’s basketball team begins their 15-game home schedule on December 2 against Florida International University. The women’s schedule also features 13 games against teams that advanced to postseason play last season, including three Sweet 16 teams and defending NCAA Champion Connecticut. Season tickets for women’s basketball start as low as $75 for reserved seats and $150 for floor seats.
