Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami football team (4-0, 2-0 BIG EAST) demonstrated considerable improvement over the previous days’ session Wednesday at the Greentree Practice Fields on the Coral Gables campus.

“We had much more intensity and we had a good workout today,” coach Larry Coker said. “It was a normal Wednesday for us. We had lots of situation drills and we pushed them pretty good today. It’s time now that we have a Thursday practice and get our legs fresh and really be quick and fly around and have a great Saturday night.”

Saturday, the Hurricanes will face the University of Connecticut (2-3) at the Orange Bowl for a 7 p.m. kickoff. This is the first time the two programs have faced one another.
