Cane Coach Davis to Host Annual Camp

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Universityof Miami head football coach ButchDavis will host his annual football camp, July 27-29.
The MET RX/Butch Davis FootballCamp is conducted at the Universityof Miami Campus and is open to ages 7 to 17.
This is where NFL starslike Edgerrin James, Russell Maryland,Cortez Kennedy, Darrin Smith, Heisman Trophy winners Vinny TestaverdeandGino Torretta and others practiced and became great players.
The fee for day campersis $100, which includes lunch and campT-shirt. Overnight campers are to pay $250, which includes meals,room andcamp T-shirt. There will also be $30 key deposit for overnightcampers.
The goal of the MET RX/Butch Davis Football Camp is to provide camperswith:
* The Knowledge and most up-to-date techniques used by the Miami
Hurricanes
* Strength and Conditioning
* Nutritional Education
Tentative Camp – Day Itinerary
7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Overnight campers wake up and eat breakfast, the report to football locker room.
8:00 a.m. Day campers report to Hecht Athletic Center
9:00 a.m. – 5 :00 p.m. Camp activities
5:30 p.m. Parents pick up day campers
5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Evening camp activities
10:00 p.m. Lights out
The camp gives the participantsthe opportunity to receiveinstruction by the Hurricane staff and other qualified football coaches.Campers are separated by age, and level of instruction will be differentforeach age group.
