Miami Soccer Named The Team Of 2000

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami women’s soccer team was picked to be the Team of 2000 to break into the national scene according to Soccer Buzz Magazine.

Soccer Buzz Magazine conducted a poll on their online site SoccerBuzz.com between 10 teams to see which team will make it into the national picture this season.

UM received 42% of the vote, Texas finished behind the Hurricanes with 26% in a runaway vote.

Other teams in the poll include, Loyola Marymount (9%), Florida State (7%), Dayton (6%), Arizona State (3%), California (3%), St. Louis (3%), Illinois (1%), Oakland (1%).
