CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP)Guillermo Diaz scored a game-high 20 points andAnthony Harris keyed a decisive second-half run to lead Miami to an 80-53 winover Massachusetts on Sunday.

It was the fourth consecutive win for Miami (5-2).

The Hurricanes went into halftime up 37-22, and opened the second half withan 18-2 run, including seven points from Harris.

Miami took a 31-point lead on a 3-pointer from Robert Hite that made it55-24 with 13:42 remaining. Massachusetts never got closer than 22 points toMiami’s lead after that.

Art Bowers scored 16 points for Massachusetts (3-3) in the loss. AnthonyAnderson added 12 points and three steals for the Minutemen, who were comingoff a 61-59 win over then-No. 7 Connecticut.

Miami’s starting guard trio of Diaz, Harris and Hite combined for 54 points,connecting on 13-of-20 3-pointers. The Hurricanes shot 49.2 percent from thefield, including 59.1 percent (13-of-22) from 3-point range, and outreboundedthe Minutemen 40-26.

Miami went the first 3:02 without a basket and fell behind 8-3, but theHurricanes mounted a 10-0 run behind five points from Diaz, who scored 18 ofhis 20 points in the first half.

Miami ripped off another 10-0 run to take a 26-14 lead, with Diaz accountingfor the last five points. The Hurricanes took their largest lead of the halfwhen Diaz buried his fourth 3-pointer to make it 33-17 with 2:56 remaining.
