Hurricanes Add Robert Miller to 2026-27 Roster

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami men’s basketball head coach Jai Lucas announced Friday the addition of LSU transfer Robert Miller to the Hurricanes’ 2026-27 roster.

Miller joins Miami after appearing in 63 games with 10 starts over two seasons at LSU. As a sophomore, he averaged 6.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 65.7 percent from the field.

“Robert gives us another athletic, physical presence in the frontcourt who can impact the game on both ends of the floor,” Lucas said. “He plays with great energy, protects the rim and is an efficient finisher around the basket. He brings the type of toughness, versatility and experience that fits our program.”

Miller scored in double figures five times during the 2025-26 season and recorded four blocks in four different games. In SEC play, he averaged 6.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest.

As a freshman, Miller appeared in all 32 games with eight starts and averaged 4.5 points and 3.1 rebounds. He scored in double figures four times over the final nine games of the season, highlighted by his first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds against Florida.

Prior to LSU, Miller starred at Pasadena Memorial High School, averaging 20 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks per game as a senior. He finished as the school’s all-time leader in points, rebounds and blocks and was a two-time District 22-6A MVP.

Miller was ranked No. 64 nationally in the 247Sports Composite and participated in the 2023 NBPA Top 100 Camp.
