Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami men’s basketball team (16-11, 7-9 ACC) will be the sixth-seed at the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament and will face 11th-seeded Virginia (13-14, 4-12) in the opening-round, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the MCI Center in Washington, D.C.
The UM-Virginia game will be broadcast live on ESPN.
Miami and Virginia met once this season with the Hurricanes coming away with a 91-80 win in Charlottesville, Va. The win marked Miami’s first ACC road win. The Hurricanes hold a 3-0 all-time series lead against the Cavaliers.
