Sam Ratner joined the University of Miami’s Athletic Department in June 2024 as Manager, Ticket Operations. He oversees ticketing for the Hurricane’s Men’s Basketball program and assists with operations for the Football and Baseball programs.
Sam joins the Hurricanes with ticketing experience in both Collegiate and Professional Sports. Prior to joining the Hurricanes, Sam served as the Manager of Ticket Operations at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He was the primary ticket oversight for the Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, and Football programs as well as assisted with Men’s Basketball. Before his tenure at Georgetown, he spent two seasons in Minor League Baseball working in the box office of the Fredericksburg Nationals: one of the highest attended teams in all of Minor League Baseball.
A native of Alexandria, VA, Sam graduated in 2019 from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and a minor in General Business. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University, graduating in 2023.
