Emily Panasowich serves as the Assistant Athletic Director – Community Engagement & Events and joined the Hurricanes staff in August of 2019.
In her current position, Panasowich is responsible for growing student & campus relationships, connecting with the Miami community and building long-term community programming.
Before joining UM, Panasowich worked for FC Bayern Munich – Americas, Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment and sport for development organization ChildFund Pass it Back. Panasowich has created social impact programming for a diverse set of communities through the platform of sport.
Prior to her time in the sport industry, Panasowich worked in the non-profit sector spending seven years in Asia growing a US based STEM education organization. She graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in International Business.
