Dylan Theiss was hired as a Fellow Football Athletic Trainer in 2022. Prior to joining the Canes, he served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Texas A&M University-Commerce working with Football and Track & Field from 2020-2022.
A native of Hackensack, N.J., he graduated from Montclair State University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Texas A&M University-Commerce where he received his master of health, kinesiology & sports science.
Theiss’ certifications include National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and an Athletic Trainer Certification. He served as a first responder during the pandemic in New Jersey. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
