As a Freshman (2017-18)
Fall:  2-4 singles, 2-2 doubles … picked up consecutive two-set victories at the Rice Invitational (Sept. 29-Oct. 1), his first as a Hurricane … partnered freshman Jake Kuhlman in the doubles competition of the ITA Southeast Championships (Oct. 12-16)

Spring:  1-0 singles, 9-9 doubles … Debuted in singles with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Cleveland State’s Mirko Radosevic (March 11)… Picked up a doubles victory alongside senior Nile Clark in all four of Miami’s home duals, including two against FAU and Bucknell (Feb. 11) on the same day … Defeated Charleston’s No. 2. pair (Feb. 23.) for duo’s third straight triumph … Teamed up with fellow rookie Tatsuki Shimamoto for a 6-3 victory against Julian Zlobinsky and Ian Dempster of No. 1 Wake Forest (March 23) … recorded a 6-3 victory alongside Clark at Virginia (April 6) in Miami’s memorable win over the three-time-defending national champion … edged BC’s Conor Mullins and Kent Mukai in a tiebreaker (April 15) … Aycart and Clark took down Dayton’s Will Harper and Simon Jayaram (April 22), 7-5, in the regular-season finale.

Juniors
Pablo Aycart Joya competed in ITF’s all over the world defeating highly ranked players. He played in Futures events in Spain. Won several Men’s events in his final years in Spain. Attended the SotoTennis Academy as well as the Ferrer Tennis Academy where he trained with David Ferrer, Iñigo Cervantes, and Pablo Andujar.
