Greg Nosal joined the Hurricanes’ coaching staff as an offensive line graduate assistant in the spring of 2016.
In his current role, Nosal is responsible for film grading and assisting with the scout team defense.
He joined the staff after spending three years as a graduate assistant at Virginia Tech, spending the past two seasons under the direction of current UM offensive line coach Stacy Searels. In his first season at Virginia Tech, Nosal worked with the Hokies’ tight ends and assisted with the scout team secondary.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Nosal played offensive line for Virginia Tech from 2007-11 and helped guide the Hokies to three ACC Championships and four BCS bowl appearences (three Orange Bowls and one Sugar Bowl). As a senior in 2011, Nosal earned All-ACC honors.
Following his collegiate career, Nosal earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management.
A native of Virginia Beach, Va., Nosal was an All-State tight end at Kellam High School.
