The asterisk next to 2020 and 2021 season bios indicate the NJCAA’s decision to grant an extra year of eligibility for student-athletes in light of the COVID-19 pandemic; the student-athlete’s year of eligibility did not “advance” from 2020 to 2021 due to this NJCAA ruling.

*Sophomore (2021): Missed most of the season recovering from off-season surgery…Appeared in two games as a pinch hitter…Made Hurricane debut as a pinch hitter vs. App State (May 9)…Got an at-bat as a pinch hitter vs. Georgia Tech (May 15).

*Sophomore (2020 – St. Johns River): Played in 30 games before COVID-19 pandemic shortened the season…Hit .295 with two doubles, seven homers, 22 RBI and seven stolen bases…Made seven appearances as a pitcher, including six starts, going 0-3 with a 4.64 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 21.1 innings pitched.  

Freshman (2019 – St. Johns River): Played in 50 games, batting .260 with five doubles, two homers 23 RBI and 12 stolen bases…Made five appearances on the mound, including three starts, striking out eight batters over 10.2 innings pitched. 

High School: Two-year varsity letterman at Buchholz…As a senior, helped Bobcats finish 21-8-1 and win the district title.

Personal: Son of Julio and Angelia Rosario…has one sister, Brittany…Cousin of MLB shortstop Amed Rosario…Majoring in sport administration.
