High School: Excelled as a two-way player at Westminster Christian, batting .345 with 11 homers and 68 RBI while going 15-6 with a 2.76 ERA and 155 strikeouts over 131.2 innings pitched in his four-year varsity career…Did not pitch as a senior, but hit .258 with three doubles in shortened 2020 season…Went 4-0 with one save, posting a 1.09 ERA and 58 strikeouts as a junior…Went 5-5 with a 4.80 ERA and 53 strikeouts as a sophomore…Impressed as a freshman, going 6-1 with two saves, recording a 2.10 ERA and 44 strikeouts…Three-time second-team All-American from 2017-2019…Three-year team captain from 2018-2020.
