Teddy Kaufman is a left-hander who will provide short relief out of the bullpen … named to the all-star team in the New England Collegiate Baseball League last summer … does a great job of keeping hitters off-balance … did not play his senior year at Miami Killian after undergoing Tommy John surgery on Oct. 21, 2004.

Kaufman played for Pete Hertler at Killian High School … member of the honor roll throughout high school Senior (2005): Underwent Tommy John surgery on Oct. 21, 2004, forcing him to sit out the season. Junior (2004): Miami Herald All-Dade First Team, Second-Team All-State selection and was selected to Team Cy Young … Posted a 1.25 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 73 innings pitched to help lead Killian to the State Championship Game.
