Vs. Oral Roberts (4/3): Pitched one inning against the Golden Eagles and gave up a solo home run and had two strikeouts in a 12-8 loss. Vs. Georgia Tech (3/26): Threw 1.1 innings of relief in a 17-7 loss, giving up one unearned run and one hit. At Florida International (3/23): Gave up two hits and one run in one inning of relief in an 11-3 win with one strikeout. Vs. Duke (3/11): Pitched two innings of relief against the Blue Devils, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts in a 14-3 win. Scheduled to start vs. Quinnipiac (3/9) before the game was rained out. Vs. North Carolina St. (3/5): Tied a season high with 2.1 innings pitched and gave up two earned runs on three hits with two strikeouts in an 11-5 loss. Vs. George Washington (2/25): Pitched one inning of perfect relief in a 12-1 series-opening win. At Florida (2/20): Made his first career appearance, pitching 2.1 innings and giving up three hits and two earned runs with a walk and a strikeout.

Missed his senior year of high school career at Hialeah with an arm injury … looks to be fully recovered and ready to make a impact for the Hurricanes … played for head coach Carlos Marti at Hialeah High School … helped Hialeah capture the 2001 and 2002 Florida 6A State Championship … helped lead the Florida Bombers to the 2004 Connie Mack World Series.
