• His 16 homers in 2009 led the Hurricanes, led all ACC catchers and ranks third among all returning ACC players

• Improved his batting average 65 points (.234 to .299) and his slugging percentage 147 points (.452 to .599) from his freshman to sophomore years

• Posted five hits in the Clemson series (4/4-6) and had a career-best 4-for-5 day with four RBI and three runs scored on April 5
• One of the three UM players that hit two homers in the ACC Tourney (5/21-25), hitting solo shots against Clemson (5/21) and Georgia Tech (5/22)
• Tied for second on the team with fellow catcher Jason Hagerty in recording eight RBI during NCAA postseason play
• Committed just one errror (Georgia Tech – 5/22) in UM’s final 16 games
